Unique Design Maximizes Grain Drying Exposure
and Uniformity
Aeroglide is pleased to offer the grain industry a tower dryer that achieves uniform airflow and grain flow. Air is drawn by an induced draft fan into
inverted v-baffles and through the grain. Design factors are balanced to make the dryer structurally and mechanically sound. The grain tower has a large storage capacity, providing more exposure time, a low air volume, and four-way mixing of the grain. Controlled air and grain movement ensures uniform, thorough drying and cooling. Slower drying with less thermal stress produces better quality grain, with each particle uniformly dried and stable.
With over 900 grain dryers installed in 34 countries around the world, Aeroglide builds grain dryers that are durable, energy efficient and capable of drying grain to precise moisture standards. Many of our grain dryers that are over 25 years old are still in operation. Dryers are available in sizes with capacities up to 116 mton/hr (5684 BPH).
Uniform Drying, Low Air Velocity Grain is divided and gently intermingled in four directions for maximum air exposure. Each kernel is exposed to equal amounts of drying and cooling air from all sides. Uniform exposure prevents under-drying or over-drying. The crossed baffles provide structural rigidity to the tower dryer. The dual exhaust gives better air distribution and lower air velocities.
